Past weeks workouts

Been a long week for the most part. Workouts are going ok, but it is the last week of lifting so I will take what I can get.

Tuesday.

Practiced throwing first
Only highlight was I got a PR on the open stone of 31'7"

Deadlifts no belt
245 x 5
295 x 3
335 x 3
385 x 3
425 x 5

DB rows
8, 10, 20

I think I did some ab work and some other back work.

Thursday

Axle Clean and press
160 x 5
180 x 3
200 x 1
220 x 2
About what I expected to get, I want more but for now this isn't too bad.

Went and did a little more throwing, got a PR on the light hammer of 80'.

Came back and did a little more stuff.

Friday
Close stance box squats
225 x 2 x 8 sets

Axle power cleans
worked up to 220 x 1, this might be a PR on the axle cleans.

abs

Sunday
Strict presses
110 x 5
130 x 3
150 x 3
170 x 1

Practiced throwing, nothing special.

500# tire for 60 feet

Keg carry and load
200,220, 250 from 20 feet away.

Gonna do some light cardio and some light lifting this week. Just wanna get to the meet and get it over with as I want some damn carbs.

On a side note, I have to say our group has been really solid as of late. The addition of Chuck this past year, and now Joe, Melissa, and Troy have been great. They are all as goofy as the rest of us and our sense of humors click. We have had some great laughs as of late and it helps make the crappy workouts better.
