Upperbody beatdown

Wasn't really sure what to expect with tonight session, I felt beat to hell and tired, but I knew I would be more mad at myself if I hadn't lifted. Luckily my daughter and wife were on fire so that gave me motivation.

I decided I am going to use the swiss bar for a little while for my secondary pressing day.  It is hard to press with and almost mimics the log. I unstable the whole, which is always how I feel with the log.

Back is probably 95% or better. The only thing that really bothers it is picking up the damn log, but the pain wasn't that bad so I dealt with it.

Sunday training

I was definitely in a down and out mood yesterday, did my best to joke around and attempt to have fun today. For the most part I did, had some good laughs and after looking back over my training I actually got some decent work in.

Pullups

Tire Sled drags

This burned the shit out of my quads and lungs.

Overall it was a fun day, witnessed some amazing feats of strength today.

What leg work I can do.

For one of the 1st times in a long time, I am scared. My back is getting better but I honestly don't know what is wrong. I need to see a specialist soon. Things were so on track and then this happened. I fucking hate it. Don't get me wrong I am still able to do things, but some days I don't know if what I am doing is a good idea or not. I just feel like I am in a dark place and can't see the light to get out. It is depressing as hell, and it makes it hard for me to be around anyone. I am doing my best to do the right things to let myself heal, but its not easy. Anyway here is what I did yesterday.

Belt Squats
5 x 10 last set was 250lbs and was fucking hard.

Hip lifts
500lbs x 25 x 2 sets

Leg Curls
3 x 15

Abs
6 sets

Tomorrow is strongman sunday and I am gonna try my best not to be a downer to everyone else. I will try to do lots of sled dragging, prowler pushes, something overhead, and grip stuff. Who knows, I just know I gotta be smart.
