Upperbody day

Another not so great workout, but I am realizing that stress can be a real bitch. But I still got a workout in and that is better than nothing.

DB flys supersetted with Incline log press
30 x 10 on Flys and 180 x 8 on incline log x 3 sets

Crap day

I will say I was having an absolute wonderful day. Work was nice, I made good money and no one pissed me off.

Since it had stopped raining Chuck and I went to throw.

Did 4 sheaf tosses, I think I am getting this figured out

5 open stone, nothing great here. Did 3 braemer style and 2 spin.

3 HWFD got 2 over 20' so it is coming back, managed to take a spill on one of the tosses and this screwed my hip up

4 LWFD these were ok, I had one that I think would have been over 50' but I held on to it too long.

3 hammer and then I just said fuck it, I hate the hammer I suck so bad at it.

So on the way home, I was like maybe I should deload or should I? Turns out I needed to deload, trying to lift after throwing just doesn't work for me.

Easter training

Well I had big plans for today, but after realizing that my legs were sore as hell I decided to call it quits on a few things, it just wasn't gonna happen today.

Quick lower body session

Wasn't gonna workout today, my knee was killing me and I was tired as hell. But being a pussy isn't gonna help me achieve my goals.

Back squats reverse band

315 x 3 x 8 sets done about 5-6 minutes working on exploding.

Prowler +100 lbs
8 sets of 60ish feet

Mountain climbers with feet suspended in blast straps

Done in around 30 min, I am torched. My knee is swollen beyond belief but I don't care, I probably will tommorrow though LOL!.

Guess whos BACK! Jesse is.....

Well I don't know if I am officially back but today was a great workout.

Chuck and I went and threw first at 930 am.
We did about 6-8 throws on the open stone, I sucked at this but I think I am figuring out the spin.
5 throws with the HWFD I haven't done this in about a month and it showed, gotta get my footwork figured out again.
6-8 throws with the LWFD best of 47' again footwork is off.
LH best of 75' I still can't figure out the multiple spin technique
Sheaf 20# got a couple good tosses in, my last one was probably the best of all of them.

Then we came back and did some strongman training. Knee is getting a lot better but I still avoided leg drive on pressing.

Knee is starting to feel a lot better so I figured might as well give it a test run. I has been at least 4 weeks since I have squatted anything significant.

Overall today was a decent day. I able to do some kind of pressing with leg drive so my knee is getting better.

Actually this was a great workout, I kept things light and did volume. I am gonna be sore tommorrow.

Goals for the week

So I am gonna try and set goals to reach on a weekly basis, who knows if this will work or not but I am gonna give it a try.

Goal #1
Get back on track with eating better.

Goal #2
Work on rehabbing my knee and not mess it up more.

Goal #3
Do 60 pullups on thursday in however many sets it takes.

Goal #4
Bench 315

Goal #5
Get 3 cardio sessions in, this is dependent on my knee feeling decent.

Load the 360 stone this week.
