Old Time Strongman Competition
I competed down ETs house of Iron and Stone in the USAWA Old Time Strongman Competition.
1st Event Axle Clean and Press
1st attempt 220lbs good
2nd attempt 250lbs good
3rd passed. I was happy to get 250, most I have done in a while.
2nd Event Goerner Stroll
1st attempt 410lbs good
2nd attempt 470lbs good
3rd attempt 510lbs fail, got it picked up but couldn't balance it.
3rd Event Crucifix hold
1st 50lbs
2nd 70lbs fail
3rd 70lbs good
Brutal event, very humbling
4th Event 18" Deadlift
1st attempt 585lbs good
2nd attempt 625lbs fail
3rd attempt 625lbs fail
I was out of gas at this point. Dissapointing not to get this, but I had nothing left.
I ended up winning the middleweights, but took 2nd in the overall. I was halfway close to winning, just needed to get those lfts I missed.

Sunday I attempted to do what most people call train, but in reality all I did was lift like a dumbass. So I will leave it at that.

Then I tried some 1 arm clean and jerks, my elbow hurts way too bad and I suck at jerking.

Ok training today. I was feeling quite tired and Gabby wanted to do her lifts for the Eastern Postal meet. She ended up with 50# on the Feet in the air bench, 55# front squat, and 65# Continental to the belt.
After I helped her.
I got a Pendlay Nexgen bar today, excellent bar and perfect for what I want.

I started out with a wider grip, didn't care for it.
