Quick Upperbody workout

Ok training today. I was feeling quite tired and Gabby wanted to do her lifts for the Eastern Postal meet. She ended up with 50# on the Feet in the air bench, 55# front squat, and 65# Continental to the belt.




After I helped her.

I got a Pendlay Nexgen bar today, excellent bar and perfect for what I want.



Strict press

I started out with a wider grip, didn't care for it.



135 x 3

155 x 1

175 x 1

back to closer grip

185 x 1

190 x 1

200 x 1

Eh not great my upperback was so sore.



1 arm bench

65 x 3 each arm

85 x 3 each arm

105 x 1 each arm 5# PR left

120 x 1 right arm 5# PR



Close grip bench

285 x 1 x 5 sets



Did some Bent over row

235 x 3

255 x 3

275 x 1

295 x 1 x 2 sets I did a pause on the last rep on each set, on the 295 I paused both, but on the 1st one I think I was to upright. This is a 10# PR

325 x 1 no pause. I think I can get this fresh. I want my record back.



That was it. I think I will take it easy tomorrow and just do conditioning and some light oly stuff.
