Crazy day of training

Eventually I am gonna be completely changing my workouts around, but really I was quite happy with how today went. I am adding in some of Mike Westerling's ideas for my lower body but upperbody I am gonna stick with what I have been doing, as I am seeing some great gains and PRs.

Axle Clean and Press
Warmup
215 x 5,5,8 Very happy about the last set 10 might have been possible if I wanted to go to failure.

Strict Press

Probably gonna go back to 531 on these not sure yet. I have had a goal of getting a bodyweight strict press for a long time, and I always manage to fuck it up and not get it. Need to stick it out and get this goal.

These felt really good, I could have done more but I was by myself and at this point pushing myself anymore was not in the cards.

Overall I was very happy with today, it was rough but I can see wear some of this stuff will really pay off in the end.
