Past couple of workouts

Last couple of days.

Log press experiment. I decided to try and press in chucks as my olympic shoes have been throwing me off on the log, and the area we are pressing at at the contest is kind of slanted.


240 x 1 x 4 sets

I had 1 rep that was actually a decent rep, the other 3 were basically leg drive to eyes, then strict press out.



Close grip bench

225 x 5 x 3 sets



Pressdowns

5 x 15



Curls

3 x 5






Starting my deload a little earlier, I think it will pay off.



Friday

Front squats

135 x 3

185 x 1

225 x 1

245 x 1

275 x miss fell forward, kind of pulled the bicep decided to not try again.



Sumo Pulls

135 x 3

225 x 3

315 x 3

405 x 1

455 x 1



Just wanted to see how these felt, I think I will pull sumo for the powerlifting meet I do in Nov.



KB snatches

70 x 5 x 2 sets



Prowler pushes

I can't remember, I think I did 5 sets of 80 feet.



Sunday

Went and did some throwing first

Throwing went ok, some good some bad.



Log press

200 x 3 x 2 sets



Farmers

Not very good, tore up hands on LWFD.



Tire flips

600 x 3 x 3 these went decent



Keg Carry

270 x 60 feet x 2 sets



Prowler Pushes

200lbs x 60 feet x 6 sets



Good day overall, looking forward to resting up this week.
