Past couple of workouts

Sunday


Axle clean and press

180 x 5

200 x 5

220 x 5 best my press has felt in a while.



Then we had our monthly challenge at the gym, well it is into its 2nd month.

1st event 2 DBs anyhow

Got 90 each hand, couldn't clean the 105s, so ended up with 180lbs total.



2nd event Reverse curl

Got a PR of 170lbs



3rd event Index fingers DL

155lbs, this is Fing hard.



Corey won the challenge and is the Big %%$% of the month.



I think I did a little bit more but I can't remember.



Tuesday Deads and stuff.



Axle Cleans

Deadlifts

512 x 2 Happy about this, most I have pulled in a while and it felt really solid.



18" Deads

worked up to 605 x 1, most I have pulled over/under I believe. Depending on what kind of bar ET is using next month I might just hook grip everything. This bar is 32mm and I can hook it but it hurts like hell.



Front squats

205 x 1 x 8 sets



That was all I had time and energy for. I wanted to do some upperback work and core work but I will save it for another day.

Thursday upperbody day
1 arm bench press
bunch of warmups each arm.
did 115lbs with my right arm for a 5# PR.

Strict Press
125 x 3
140 x 3
160 x 8

Push Press/Push Jerk combo
195 x 1 and 1
205 x 1 and 1
215 x 1 and 1
225 x 1 and I suck at jerking gotta really work on it.

Feet in the air bench
225 x 5 x 2 sets
225 x 5 feet on ground

Reverse curls
3 x 5

Hammer curls
3 x 8

Conditioning
30 sec jump rope, 30 sec rower, 30 sec rest 11 rounds. This was fun, Corey about died while me and Bryan were ready for another 10 rounds.
